Taylor Mendenhall

Bio

Millard South High School is proud to welcome Coach Taylor Mendenhall as the next head football coach. Coach Mendenhall brings a wealth of playing and coaching experience throughout the state and we are pleased that one of our own will take the reigns of the historic Patriot Football Program.

Coach Taylor Mendenhall has nearly a decade of coaching experience. Most recently as the quarterbacks coach, Coach Mendenhall has also coached tight-ends, safeties, and coordinated the special teams in his tenure at Millard South while also leading the junior varsity to three consecutive undefeated seasons. Prior, Coach Mendenhall coached defensive-line at both Kearney High School and Adams Central High School.

As a three-sport athlete at Millard South, Coach Mendenhall went on to have a successful football career at Hastings College where he earned a Business/Accounting Degree and Master’s in Teaching. Coach Mendenhall and his wife, Tatum, have twin sons, Benjamin (1) and Barrett (1). Millard South is eager for The Mendenhall’s to continue as a part of the Patriot Family with Coach Mendenhall at the helm of our football program.
